Volunteer information sessions are designed as a question and answer platform where folks interested in becoming CASAs can learn more about the specifics of what it’s like to be a CASA and the application process. Current advocates, members of the Board and other supporters are also encouraged to bring friends and family members who are interested in learning more about CASA. You don’t have to currently be connected to CASA or anyone with CASA to attend an information session.

The mission of CASA of North Texas is to provide trained community volunteers, to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children, and to promote community awareness about child abuse issues.  In 2022, CASA of North Texas served 77 children in Cooke County. As the number of children continues to grow, more advocates are needed to be their voice in court and to give them a chance for a safe, loving, permanent home.

Please contact the CASA office at 940-665-2244 or programdirector@casant.org to learn more or to schedule an individual appointment.
